Week Six
Storyboard

Monday 22.08

This week we started off by creating a draft story board where this exercise was like a rapid fire session to be able to quickly get all our ideas out onto the paper

I found this exercise really helpful as it was good to see how other people had interpreted their design concept in the form of a story board, it made me think I hadn't gone into enough detail when thinking about a story board so I decided to redo the exercise in a fast digital form on procreate so its easier to visual and dig deeper

I started to think because I wasn't 100 percent sure on my concept that I needed to dive deeper into to programming in order to finalise my design before committing to a story board

I started to continue with the idea of making this facade extend into the interior, where I also starting to bring in the aspect of layering that I have experimented with before,

I felt this gave me a clear direction into how I wanted the space to look and feel and felt inspired by the facades I were creating

I became drawn to this design, where I used prominate lines from Auckland contor maps in order to use grasshoper to create gradient curves

I started to think how can this be made into a facade and what I could do to push this further thinking in the context of the colour mode

I started to devloped this design from my exploration,

I became interested in how the shapes shifted every time I moved the camera, from this design I started to finalise the design and get it ready for renders, the screen captures above and how Im thinking about the layout of my story board

from here I want to think how I can programme this space,

Moving forward for next week presentation...

- adding materials

- programming of cafe and communal working area,

- renders and layout
